Dear Caregivers and Friends,
I am taking a break today. Last Monday our daughter Amy (who proofreads the blog each week) gave birth to Samuel Alexander Stone at 30 weeks gestation. His lungs were not developed enough to breathe on his own and the doctors tried and we prayed but yesterday about noon Amy and her husband Hoyt passed little Sami into the arms of Jesus. We are sad but not broken. His strength is perfect when our strength is gone. Please pray for Hoyt, Amy, and their children – Hoyt IV, Aiden, Meia, Adara, Mahri and Havilah. Even when we do not understand, we know that God does all things well. He sees the big picture.
If you are a caregiver – and even if you are not – love the people in your life today. Now abides faith, hope and love – these three – but the greatest is love.
Blessings,
Ruth

Ruth, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your grandchild. I just got caught up reading your blog, and haven’t read them in a few weeks. Praying for your daughter and her family ?? This has been a busy year so far. Sorry I haven’t stayed in touch, but it’s been a lot going on and I just haven’t wanted to talk to or be around people. It’s getting better now that this crazy pandemic mess is slowing down and you can get out and do things. That was driving me crazy! Once again, I am sorry about your loss and you know he’s in a much better place. Love and miss you.
Mona
